We currently use Alpine Linux as our server OS, which is a security-focused Linux distribution. We use LXC containers for our virtualization solution, which provides better performance than many popular alternatives, and has some security advantages. We are not just running on client containers on some huge corporation's "cloud", dependent on their config, management, or updates, for instance. We don't have to "nickle and dime" our customers for actual usage of their applications, either.
